The Desire to Acquire – Part 2

Pastor John Miller

April 4, 2025

Exodus 20:17

20:17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's."

Would you say that most of the people you know are “content”?  Or do you see a restlessness and a longing for something else beyond what they have?  How about yourself?  What’s your contentment quotient?  Today, Pastor John reiterates the importance of placing your contentment in God and His personal provisions for your life.  That’s the best way to enjoy Him and His blessings.  And it’s the safest way to avoid breaking that most subtle of all of the Ten Commandments: “Thou shalt not covet.”

Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Exodus chapter 20 as he continues his message, The Desire to Acquire.
